My experience at dahilayan adventure park

3 years ago I visited Dahilayan Adventure Park in the Philippines, and one of the amazing memories I've experienced there was when I tried out a zipline! The zipline I rode on was 840m long, also known as Asia's longest dual zipline. Have you heard of it? No? Well, if you wanna experience flying like a super hero, this is just the place.

I also rode on the shorter zipline that was 150m long and another that was 350m long while holding hands with my cousin. It felt like my legs were just useless. Sitting down until I reached the other side was just somehow pretty amazing! After experiencing the other ziplines I decided I was going to ride the longest zipline they had. I wasn't scared when I was with my family, but when I had to take a ride to get to the starting point the weather kinda creeped me out. It was so foggy and cold when we arrived at our destination, luckily I had a jacket.I began feeling scared of the ride and thought, "This is different" why? On most of the ziplines you just hold the rope and sit down, but in this zipline your position will totally look like a superman flying. I was then ready to cross, my heart was beating fast. Can you imagine? You? 4,700 feet about sea level? I couldn't really, not until I actually experienced it.
When I started moving, my eyes were just open and my hands were covering my mouth. I could not believe that this was actually so much...fun. Some said that the view was spectacular! But for me, there wasn't much of a view. Between the mountains, which was the starting point, fog covered much of the scenery, all I could see were some tress, not really much but I just smiled while passing by.
When I started feeling a little sunlight on my arms I knew that I was going to be out from between the mountains. When I was out from between the mountains the view was just breathtaking, I smiled happily while seeing it.
When I was being released by the straps that held tight on me I saw my family waving from the sides. In the end my parents bought me a congratulation certificate with a picture of me from inside a building. That experience made me believe that I am just a simple daredevil in a way.

Wow, Marianne, you are a dare devil. I have never been on a zipline, but in my travels, I have seen them popping up all over the place. I don't think I would ever go on one of them. What was the best part?

Hi Ella!
I really enjoyed reading your post. I have a been on a zip-line which we have to sit down, but I never been on a zip-line type like you mentioned. Even I felt scared at the beginning too! I guess both of our experiences are a bit similar, because I also went there about 3 years ago. How did you feel when you are flying through the air? Did you feel like a little heroine? That is how I felt. Please visit my blog when you have time!

Hi my name is Emma and I am from Australia,
I really value the effort into this post. It is very fascinating how long the zip line was. I have done zip lines before but not that long.

Hi Marianne Ella. My name is Carly. I really like your blog post. The only time I went Ziplining was at the camp I went to. It was lots of fun, but it didn't last long. It was super short and didn't even go to the end. You also had to ether climb a wall to get to it or do the high ropes course. Hope you come visit my blog. http://2022cmj.edublogs.org. Have a nice day.
